At the beginning of the new year, following the visit of Lu Yin, Director of New Materials Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economic and Information Technology, who led a six-member delegation of New Materials Division to me on January 21 to investigate and guide the work and understand the development of polyurethane industry in our city, Jin Ye, the first-level director of New Materials Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economic and Information Technology, accompanied by Xu Guoqing, Secretary General and Zhang Songtao, Deputy Secretary General, visited Qiguang Group Company to carry out research activities on my professional committee of auxiliaries in the afternoon of February 25.

Director Zhang Qiming expressed a warm welcome to the New Materials Division of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission on behalf of the Additives Professional Committee to visit and guide the work, and Jin Ye made a brief explanation on the purpose of the research.
At the research meeting, the directors and deputy directors present reported to Jin Ye according to the development history of their respective units, new product development, etc. They also gave their views on the current situation of the polyurethane additives industry and how to better lead the polyurethane additives enterprises to work together for the technological progress and innovative development of polyurethane additives after the establishment of the Additives Specialized Committee, promote the contact and collaboration among the additives manufacturers and provide better services for the downstream application enterprises.
After listening carefully to the report and communication, Jin Ye made a concluding speech. He pointed out that with a wide range of polyurethane additives, data sharing is particularly important. Through the big data platform, they can mutually serve as a data base for the research and development of some new materials, thus breaking the industry information barriers, optimizing and improving production efficiency, and deeply promoting industrial innovation. Polyurethane Association should strengthen communication with relevant industry associations, help enterprises seek cross-border cooperation and do a good job of industry chain docking.
Jin Ye expressed his affirmation of the work done by the association in providing special services for its members. He encouraged enterprises to actively strive for various honorary titles from the government, which is not only a recognition of their work, but also a priority to enjoy the support of government policies. The fine chemical projects with high added value are also welcome to settle in Shanghai.
Zhang Songtao, deputy secretary-general, concluded his speech by pointing out that the new materials division of the Economic and Information Commission came to me for research on the additives committee, reflecting the support and concern of the competent authorities for the work of our association. Additives Committee has just been established, this year plans to carry out technical training, technical exchanges and product promotion activities in the additives enterprises, the organization of enterprises to participate in the interfoam foam exhibition held in Shanghai in June. Through these activities, we will promote communication and cooperation among enterprises, promote the high-quality development of the polyurethane additives industry, enhance the visibility of the special committee and better serve the additives enterprises. The Association will actively cooperate with the New Materials Division in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and “Carbon Dafeng and Carbon Neutral” to do a good job in service work.
