Amine catalyst A33 is a liquid catalyst containing 33% triethylenediamine (TEDA). This highly reactive tertiary amine catalyst promotes the reaction of isocyanate with polyol to cross-link the foam. It also gives good mechanical properties of flexible polyurethane foam. If used with amine catalyst A1, the best performance of this amine catalyst A33 can be obtained. Physical properties: Shape: colorless or light yellow liquid purity ≥99%; water content ≤0.5%; viscosity (25℃): 100mPa.s; density (20℃): 1.033g/cm3; flash point (PMCC): 79℃; vapor pressure (38℃): 266Pa Amine catalyst A33 product application: The active ingredient of Chong Yao A33 is triethylenediamine, which is composed of 33% triethylenediamine and 67% polyol. It is a solution of 33% triethylenediamine and 67% mono-dipropylene glycol. It is widely used in soft, semi-rigid and rigid polyurethane foam, coatings and elastomers. In the polyurethane foaming system, isocyanate first reacts with triethylenediamine to form an active complex, which is very unstable in nature, and once the carbamate bond is generated, it will be freed to facilitate further catalysis. The catalytic effect of triethylenediamine is strong for both gel reaction and foaming reaction, especially for polyurethane and hydroxyl group, which is more selective. Amine catalyst A33 is suitable for all types of polyurethane foam manufacturing. It is fully soluble in water and fully miscible with polyols, fluorocarbons and stannous catalysts. In all foam formulations, triple amine catalyst A33 can replace twice as much solid triethylenediamine, e.g. 0.3php amine catalyst A33 can replace 0.1php solid triethylenediamine.
