Sandpaper (generally need 180#-320#, 600#-1000#), sanding board, lint-free cotton cloth, pen, debugging color paste cup, chopsticks.

White sample sanding
Connoisseurs often say the so-called “three points by painting, seven points by sanding”, so before painting it, sanding this step is crucial. The surface sanding of the white sample must be sanded to a smooth surface, if the surface sanding is not smooth enough, then it will lead to rough and harsh surface after painting is not flat enough, and even affect the overall tone of uneven and other consequences. Therefore, sanding is very important, you can consider using 180# sandpaper coarse sanding surface and then use 1000# sandpaper fine sanding surface, after using cotton cloth to remove the surface sanding powder and wood powder can be clean.

Sample comparison method

Color paste selection

The combination of color paste wood wax oil

First painting (kneading method)
The first two coats are purely for coloring process, and the last one is for covering with varnish. Of course, you can also do two coats, but the effect of three coats will be better. And in order to ensure the effect of painting wood wax oil, when painting must be thin brush can.

Second application (brush method)
After a day, the sample board is dry enough for the second painting. Before painting, use 1000# sandpaper to sand the surface smoothly, and use a lint-free cotton cloth to clean the surface before the second painting.
Remember, the dose of wood wax oil and color paste selection for the second painting is the same as the ratio of the first kneading. The second brush must use a sponge for thin brushing, pay attention to the thin brush with the grain of the wood. When after the second brush, the effect is actually enough to reflect, and the effect is very close to the reference board. Finally, the same place with good ventilation for 24 hours to air dry, you can do the final finishing work.

Final painting (varnish covering)
Before the third coat or sample surface sanding work, use 1000 # sandpaper fine grinding sample surface, and then clean up the surface with a lint-free cotton cloth.
After sanding and cleaning, use the special clean wood wax oil varnish (no need to add color paste) for thin brushing, use sponge brush or soft cotton cloth as far as possible when painting to end the finishing work, and place the same in a well ventilated environment to air dry for 24 hours to compare with the effect of PU paint painted samples.
