DBS-11A is an important, even indispensable component in many applications, such as: as a basic hardening catalyst in bimolecular polyurethane coatings and moisture-hardened coatings, as a catalyst in a wide range of silicone composites, as a cross-linked polyethylene material in silane warm water, and as a synthetic catalyst in various adhesives.
