BASF anti-yellowing agent TPU used in Iphone 12 cases
Hamee Corporation, a leading Japanese mobile device accessory brand, has used BASF Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to create a series of custom cases for the new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Because of its high durability, resistance to yellowing and transparency, Elastollan is ideally suited for making protective cases that are both attractive and functional.
According to the report, the new anti-yellowing agent TPU is used in a multi-material hybrid structure, and its UV resistance is optimized in the new formulation to prevent discoloration or yellowing of the phone case. The multi-material structure phone case made with Elastollan provides excellent protection against impact and scratches. The smooth, abrasion-resistant finish improves the experience for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users.
